Sofia, October 17, 2012 -The General Meeting of Information Services Plc adopted, via its resolution, the Principal's proposal to increase its Board of Directors' members by two, totaling five - Mr. Ivaylo Filipov and Prof. DSc Mihail Konstantinov. During the new BoD's meeting it was resolved to appoint Prof. Konstantinov Chair of BoD, Mr. Valeri Borisov - Deputy Chair, and Mr. Filipov - CEO, jointly with the current CEO, Alexander Kolev.
DSc Mihail Konstantinov is a Doctor of Mathematics and a professor and researcher at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy.
Prior to joining the IS team, Mr. Ivaylo Filipov was a consultant in the area of ICT and business development, after being manager of national-scale projects at the Registry Agency, and during the period 2001-2006 he served in various capacities at Information Services, including as Business Director and Technical Director.
In July 2012 the Ministry of Transport, IT, and Communications became the principal of Information Services.
