The number of users of the Single e-Justice Portal has increased more than 10 times in 2 months

The number of users of the Single Electronic Justice Portal (SEJP) has increased more than 10 times since Information Services expanded and optimized its functionalities two months ago. The number of cases accessed through the SEJP has exceeded 176,000, and the number of cases requested electronically since the end of March 2023 has exceeded 15,800, marking an increase of over 700% on a monthly basis, compared to the period from November 2015 - until 26 March 2023.

Following the optimization of the system, electronic summons read through user profiles are over 1,500, a fourfold increase on the previous 8 years. The data shows that after the optimization of the portal, the passive access of citizens and businesses to electronic cases has significantly increased. The new functionality developed in the SEJP for active access to cases, by performing procedural actions electronically, has enabled lawyers and litigants to successfully access over 2,400 electronic documents in 125 courts.

The optimized portal provides the ability to register users online, create and manage legal entity profiles (government institutions, banks, insurers, utility providers, etc.), electronic request for access to cases, new electronic services for initiating court proceedings, filing documents in pending cases, and electronic payments through a virtual POS terminal. The user interface is completely updated, modern and dynamic, with the ability to conveniently and easily track the chronology of court cases. A new view and organization of the electronic case folder has been built, with the ability to conveniently view documents, and electronic service of papers is available, using a Secure TimeStamp.

The optimized e-Justice portal was put into operation at the end of March 2023 in the framework of the project "Optimization of the Single e-Justice Portal to create conditions for increased access to e-Justice for citizens and legal entities" of the Supreme Judicial Council. The main objective of the project is to improve the access of citizens and businesses to e-justice by creating conditions for carrying out procedural actions in electronic form, electronic summons and electronic payment.

Information Services has started developing a mobile application of the Single e-Justice Portal, through which litigants, lawyers and representatives of legal entities will be able to view court cases from various mobile devices.
