Information Services has developed a document for the presence of antibodies

Information Services has revealed the option to issue a document verifying the presence of antibodies to SARS-Cov2, confirmed by a laboratory test. According to Order RD-01-915 from 09.11.2021 of the Minister of Health, all citizens who have been tested for the presence of IGG antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 after 11.11.2021 and the laboratory result shows value more than 150 BAU/ml, will be able to download their document from Internet portal of National Health Information System (NHIS) at https://www.his.bg/bg/dgc. They must enter their PIN, ID card number and National Reference Number (NRN) of the survey result. NRN can be obtained from the laboratory that has carried out the test. The document can be obtained from the laboratory. The document is valid for a period of 90 days starting from the date of the survey and is valid only in Bulgaria. It is not possible to travel abroad with it.

The generated document for presence of antibodies to SARS-Cov2, confirmed by laboratory tests, has a different format from ЕU Digital COVID certificate. The document contains all mandatory attributes - QR code, document number, personal data, start and end date of validity, laboratory result of the antibody test and number of the laboratory or medical institution where the test was carried out.

In order for the document to be valid, the antibody test must be carried out after 11.11.2021 by a laboratory that has been successfully integrated with the NHIS. Tests, that are carried outside the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria or in laboratories that are not yet connected to the information system of Ministry of Health will not be able to be used to generate the electronic document. We recommend to citizens, who wish to use a document for the presence of antibodies to SARS-Cov2, proven by a laboratory test, to ask whether the selected laboratory meets the requirements.

Almost 2.4 million COVID certificates and documents have been downloaded through the NHIF website so far. Since the announcement of the anti-epidemic measures on October 19, 2021, citizens have downloaded over 1,480 million documents.
