As of today October 25th 2021, all the citizens, proven as recovered COVID-19, established by a positive antigen test and who are registered in the National COVID-19 Register, can download their recovery document from the National Health Information System internet portal at https://www.his.bg/bg/dgc. Information Services` team developed the document in a record short time of 4 days. The Document is only valid on the territory of Bulgaria and not for traveling abroad.
Citizens who would like to obtain a recovery COVID-19 document, proofed by a rapid antigen test, must enter their PIN, ID number and the telephone number with which they are registered in the COVID-19 National Register. They will receive a special code via SMS, which must be entered on the portal page.
The Document validity will last 365 days from the date of the first positive COVID-19 antigen test. We remind that according to the Order № RD-01-856 of 19.10.2021 for introduction of temporary anti-epidemic measures, amended by Order № RD-01-861 of 21.10.2021 of the Minister of Health the validity of COVID-19 Documents was extended from 6 to 12 months.
The citizens who are in the COVID Register as proven by a positive PCR result will continue using the European Green Certificate. Although according to the EU Regulation 2021/953 of the European Parliament the duration for a recovery certificate of those with a PCR test is 180 days, in connection with the new anti-epidemic measures for the territory of Bulgaria, its validity has been extended to 365 days from the date of the first positive test.
The number of green European certificates downloaded so far is 1,470 million. Since the announcement of the epidemic measures on October 19th, 2021 until now, the citizens have downloaded over 550 thousand certificates.
Today in the time range 9:00 – 10:00 a record for downloading certificates was set up – 23,723, and since the beginning of the day their number has reached 60,000. Of these, 13,000 are certificates for COVID-19, proven by rapid antigen testing, which is about 20% of all downloaded documents.
