Yesterday, September 29th 2019, Information Services JSC again contributed to the popular “Caps for future” initiative. This time we recorded forty-one kilograms to the total of over seventy-five tons, which the campaign collected during the action on Battenberg Square in Sofia. In this initiative, of course, is not important what amount exactly one will contribute to the renovation and supply of neonatology wards around the country with new, modern equipment. Every cap collected consciously and with care is welcomed. Whether one will contribute a kilo or a ton is not the point here. Much more important is that with daily conscious actions, gram by gram (so much as a cap weighs) our sense of support grows, and our wish to do something good, to give a hand to the life. Recently we cannot find anything that so unreservedly and definitely unites people efforts all over the country.
For several years there have been specially settled places in Information Services premises for caps collection. Every day, each of us strives to reformulate in our ideas something that until recently we perceived only as a waste, into something that could be a valuable resource.
Otherwise, if we need to measure the cost of one piece of equipment for pre-born babies it amounts to approximately 14 tons of caps. Until now „Caps for future“ succeeded to buy and donate 12 pieces of equipment to different hospitals.
The campaign motto "Together we can do more" keeps inspiring and changing many Bulgarians. We, Information Services employees continue being part of this change!
