On 23 of Oct 2015, Information Services JSC completed successfully all the activities related to „the upgrade of IT - Communication systems of the State Commission on Gambling through the improvement of the integrated information system of the commission by adding brand new functionalities for control of operational activity and the revenues". The project was financed by the EU program OPAC, co-financed by the European union through its Social fund at the amount of 1 116 720 BGN.
The project results are as follows:
- Prerequisites for more efficient collection of state taxes and other public receivables as well as their reporting and reduction of all administrative resources of the Commission needed to effectively manage its control functions;
- Upgrade of current information system with brand new functionalities, modules and services, with the main aim to improve the administrative services to citizens and businesses.
The implementation and the launch of the new functionalities will make the State Commission on Gambling more open and servicing online administration.
