The National System Integrator Information Services has developed the website of the information campaign "+ me" about the benefits of vaccines and vaccination against COVID-19. The company is a major partner of Ministry of Health, which aims to promote awareness of Bulgarian citizens about vaccination. Only confirmed and reliable information about COVID-19 is collected at one place. All texts and recommendations are by medical professionals and vaccine specialists.
Extensive data on the pandemic, coronavirus, vaccines and vaccination against COVID-19, as well as specialized information on people suffering from various diseases, women of childbearing age, children and vaccines, the benefits of vaccination, etc is published on https://plusmen.bg/. The strategic goal of the campaign, launched by Ministry of Health is to reduce number of deaths due to COVID-19, number of hospitalizations of patients with coronavirus infection, as well as to reduce long-term consequences for health of Bulgarian citizens who have pull through COVID-19. The campaign is related to the measures set in the National Operational Plan to tackle COVID-19 pandemic, approved by a Decision of the Council of Ministers on January 14 this year.
"We have developed the website so that it is as convenient as possible and accessible for citizens who want to have the necessary information about COVID-19, vaccines and the benefits of vaccination," The Information Services‘ CEO Ivaylo Filipov said. According to him, joint efforts are needed to fight the pandemic.
On https://plusmen.bg/everyone can find extensive data on vaccination by district, number of doses administered, data on the number of people with a completed vaccination course, booster doses, as well as a detailed breakdown by age groups and types of vaccines. Opinions of leading medical experts regarding the vaccination against COVID-19 have been published. The campaign envisages a series of discussions on the CredoWeb National Health Communication Platform.
Partners of the information campaign "+ me" are Information Services, medical universities in the country, all healthcare professional organizations and all nationally represented patient organizations, key hospitals, Bulgarian Red Cross, National Network of Health Mediators, National Council of Religious Communities in Bulgaria, National Association of Municipalities in Republic of Bulgaria, media and specialized healthcare websites.
