Information Services extended the involvement in the charity campaign "Caps for Future" for another year. Employees of the company from Sofia handed over the collected amount of plastic caps during the initiative over the weekend on Alexander Battenberg Square.
According to the organizers, the eighth consecutive round of the initiative is the most successful so far, as a huge amount of plastic caps has been collected. So far, the campaign has passed through 25 cities. Since the beginning of the initiative 4 years ago, over 500,000 kg of plastic caps have been handed over and recycled. As a result just in two years, 22 incubators for premature babies were donated to municipal hospitals.
The objective of this year's initiative is to raise money for the purchase of a new specialized neonatal ambulance, equipped with a transport incubator, aspirator and patient monitor.
As a socially responsible company, Information Services supports a number of charitable causes and its employees set a personal examples in the initiatives.
